FESTIVAL INFORMATION
What is the location of the WNC Whiskey Festival? A-B Tech Community College Conference Center 340 Victoria Road Asheville, NC 28801
What is the date and time of the 2026 WNC Whiskey Festival? Saturday, May 30 (12 pm to 5 pm ET) Doors open at 1 pm ET for General Admission. VIP Ticket holders may enter the festival at 12 pm ET. Tickets are required for entry.
When do tickets go on sale? Tickets go on sale February 2, 2026 at 12 PM, and close upon sellout or on May 22, 2026 at 11:30 PM, whichever occurs first.
Do I need to bring my ID to enter? YES. This is a 21+ event. All ticketholders MUST have a valid government issued photo ID to enter. No valid ID NO ADMISSION!
Where is the Check-In / Entry located? Entry / Check-In is located in the front of the conference center. Check-in will start 12 PM for VIP Ticket holders & 1 PM for General Admission Ticket holders.
Will tickets be available for purchase on the day of the event? No tickets will be sold at the event. All tickets must be purchased through the website www.wncwhiskeyfest.com no later than May 22, 2026 at 11:30 PM (or sooner if tickets sell out).
Can I bring my kids? Is this a family friendly event? No, the WNC Whiskey Festival is an adult-only event. All ticket-holders MUST be 21+ years of age and have a valid government issued photo ID to purchase WNC Whiskey Festival tickets and attend events. No one under 21 years of age is permitted into the festival convention center at any time.
What is the bag policy? Small purse and/or fanny pack is permitted. Large tote bags or backpacks are not permitted. ALL BAGS ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH UPON ENTRY. Guests have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has the right to refuse entry.
What items are prohibited? Air horns or aerosol cans Alcohol (no outside alcohol allowed) Animals (service animals as defined by ADA standards are permitted) Any items deemed dangerous, hazardous, or inappropriate, in management’s sole discretion Banners, signs, propaganda materials Beverages and beverage containers, cans, thermoses, glass receptacles, and cups, EXCEPT official WNC Whiskey Festival branded glassware Cameras and Camera Equipment, Tripods, and Video or Audio Recording Equipment (unless WNC Whiskey Festival credentialed working personnel) Containers of any type (cans, cold boxes, coolers, hampers, etc.…) Drones/unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) Food (unless purchased from a WNC Whiskey Festival food vendor) Firearms, knives, blades, scissors/tools, electronic stunning devices, or weapons of any kind, to include replica firearms and edged weapons Fireworks, explosives, ammunition, flares, or pyrotechnics of any kind Illegal substances, drugs, and drug paraphernalia Laptop computers and laptop sleeves (unless WNC Whiskey Festival credentialed working personnel) Laser lights and pointers Liquids of any type Luggage or suitcases Mace / pepper spray / chemical irritants Motorized scooters, skateboards, hoverboards, or other self-propelled items (unless medically necessary and tagged at a gate designated for this purpose) Musical instruments not used in sanctioned performances No tobacco or vape use of any kind allowed in or around the convention grounds including parking areas Poles, sticks, tripods, selfie sticks, missile-like objects of any kind Scooters, skateboards, or roller skates Smoke canisters Spray paint Transmitting devices Unauthorized fliers or handbills Wagons and/or carts The WNC Whiskey Festival reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to refuse entry of any item into the festival (or require the removal thereof if already inside) if deemed a prohibited item and/or inappropriate or contrary to the festival's goals. Possession of prohibited items may result in ejection without refund.
Will there be food available? Yes! There will be food available for purchase. VIP Ticket holders will have access to a catered meal and refreshments included in their ticket price.
Will there be water available? Yes! You may bring an empty re-usable water bottle to fill up during the festival! There will also be free water provided throughout the convention center. VIP Ticket holders will have access to bottled water available in the VIP Lounge.
ADDMISSION & WRISTBANDS
Are wristbands required for entry into the WNC Whiskey Festival Festival? YES. A physical wristband is required for entry into the WNC Whiskey Festival. All attendees must present their ticket and a valid government-issued photo ID verifying they are 21 years of age or older to secure their wristband. Wristbands will be available at check-in.
READ THIS regarding your wristband! Lost, stolen, misplaced, removed or damaged wristbands are void, and will not be honored for entry under any circumstance.
TRANSPORTATION & PARKING
Where should I park? Free parking is available in the multi-level parking deck located behind the convention center. Guests may park there at no charge for the duration of the event.
What type of transportation is available? WNC Whiskey Festival does not provide transportation to or from the event. Local cab companies, Lyft, and Uber are all available to provide transportation to and from the event at the expense of the attendee. Additionally, Designated Driver Tickets are available to purchase through the website.
